Hello,
It has long been the desire of my heart to move back to Wisconsin for over 10 years. God has chosen to give me the desires of my heart by calling me to Wisconsin. I heard the voice of God one night in my shop, telling me to sell and move to Wisconsin about 9 months ago. I was very startled and wanted confirmation before I would even consider the idea. About 4 months ago I asked God why I was doing Church in the Wind; was for Him or for me. He answered Andy it is for you. I was heartbroken by God’s response and asked God what to do to get back into His will and doing ministry for Him. His answer was to surrender the church. I was in agreement because it is His church and not mine. Then I asked God, who do I surrender it to, after a long pause, He said, surrender it to Him, so I did. Then I asked God whether or not to finish my degree in Biblical study or do I go back to work and be a pastor no more. He replied to finish my study, and then I asked Him to confirm if He was calling me back to Wisconsin and He said yes. It took a long time for me to digest all the things God spoke to my heart. I knew for sure that God wanted me to surrender the church to Him; but I wanted to be sure that God still desired to use me in ministry and that He wanted Cathy and I to move. In the past 2 weeks God has confirmed many times in my heart that it is God calling me to move in faith and to start moving. I don’t know exactly what God is doing, or where He is planting Cathy and me, but I trust Him completely. Much to my surprise, since Cathy is a Colorado native, is in full agreement and very supportive to move away from her native state.
In the last few weeks God has been showing me all the things He accomplished in the faithful people who have been coming for the last 4 years. I am blessed and in awe of the progress and changes in the saints God brought to this ministry. We have had salvations and baptisms. God has pulled people out of the pit of hell through working of the Holy Spirit in this ministry and by the teaching of His truth and grace. I am also truly blown away in all the things God has taught me about me, and how to become more like Him. Our plan for Sunday is to talk about the things God has done in our lives the last wonderful 4 years and give God the glory. We are also going to share a meal. Please join us to celebrate the great things God has done. Also join us in prayer for the next season in the lives of the people of Church and for us, as God’s hand moves and guides us.
